We have been working on a crew optimization tool for several years. This year we looked at the problem from a different angle. More precisely, on a different scale
We noticed that the crew department receives a ready-made flight schedule, and usually, even the most optimal rostering and pairing turns out to be suboptimal.
Therefore, we offer a tool that, already at the flight planning stage, could save on crews and create a reason for communication between departments. So we developed a schedule adjustment module in the Rosterize and presented this feature during the AGIFORS Study Group meeting.
